Easily thickens foods and fluids for patients who have difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)in conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, malignancies of the oral cavity and throat, neurological disorders caused by injury or disease.
Recommended dosage – 1 level scoop = 1.5g
To thicken liquids: Sprinkle the recommended** amount of level scoops of powder into 200ml of liquid and stir briskly with a whisk or fork until dissolved. The liquid will thicken within 1 minute of mixing.
To thicken pureed foods: Add the desired quantity and blend until a smooth consistency develops.
