Saw palmetto contributes to normal prostate health and is traditionally used for symptomatic relief of benign prostate enlargement. It helps to improve prostate health, balance hormone levels, and prevent hair loss in men.

Hair loss– Saw palmetto may ward off hair loss and increase hair density by decreasing levels of a specific enzyme related to hair loss.

Improves urinary tract function-Saw palmetto may improve urinary tract function and could aid in the treatment of urinary tract symptoms caused by Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a condition that causes an enlargement of the prostate gland and results in decreased urine flow.

Decreases inflammation– Saw palmetto contains the antioxidants epicatechin and methyl gallate ? compounds that prevent damage to cells, decrease inflammation, and protect against chronic diseases.

May help to regulate testosterone levels– Regulating testosterone levels can impact several aspects of health, including body composition, sex drive, mood, and cognition. Saw palmetto works by decreasing the activity of 5?-R ? a chemical responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), another sex hormone, to help preserve testosterone levels in the body.

Usage

As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) to three (3) times vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtimes.
