Description
INDICATION
Muco-Asthalin syrup contains Salbutamol 2mg + Bromhexine 4mg/5ml.
Muco-Asthalin is an excellent bronchodilator, bronchokinetic and mucolytic that helps to clear the respiratory passage. It is indicated for productive cough associated with asthma, acute bronchitis, bronchiectasis and bronchopneumonia.
DOSAGE
As directed by the Physician.
Use in bronchospasm
Adults
Adults 15 years and above – 5mg (10ml) 3 times daily.
Should not receive more than 15mg (30ml) of the drug daily.
If disturbing adverse effects occur, dosage may be reduced to 2.5mg (5ml) 3 times daily.
Children 12 to 15 years of age –
2.5mg (5ml) 3 times daily
Dosage should not exceed 7.5mg (15ml) daily.
Children under 12 years:
It is contraindicated in children under the age of 12 years.
Do not exceed the stated dose
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Incase of a pregnant or lactating mother, seek

increase in heart rate, changes in blood pressure, nervousness, tremor, palpitation, dizziness, Headache, nausea, vomiting, anxiety, restlessness, lethargy, drowsiness, weakness, flushes, sweating, chest
discomfort, muscle cramps, and tinnitus
