EMLA CREAM 5G

Emla Cream contains two active ingredients namely; lidocaine and prilocaine.? They create a numbing effect on the skin making the preparation ideal for easing the pain of needle procedures, including injections, immunizations and blood tests. Once applied to the skin, the cream must be covered with opsite dressing- an air-tight, transparent dressing. This occlusive dressing will allow the active ingredients to soak into the skin and not be wiped off.

Usage

Apply the cream on the area where a needle procedure is being performed. Cover with opsite for 60 minutes to prevent the loss of the medicine through evaporation and to give it enough time to numb.
