Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps in calcium and phosphorus absorption. Having the right amount of vitamin D, Calcium and phosphorus is important for building strong bones. A deficiency of enough calcium leads to conditions such as osteomalacia and rickets. Vitamin D3 in combination with calcium is used in the treatment of bone loss-osteoporosis. It is also used to treat deficiency of calcium and phosphorus caused by thyroid hormones diseases, kidney, and liver diseases.

Usage instructions

Vitamin D3 60k is taken based on your level of need, level of exposure to the sun, and disease response to treatment. Take as directed by the physician. Vitamin D3 is better absorbed after meals. Some medications such as cholestyramine/colestipol, mineral oil, or orlistat (Xenical) hinders the absorption of vitamin D3.Do not take them at the same time but take them 2 hours apart.
