Pylotrip H. Pylori Kit

Pylotrip Kit is a triple therapy regimen designed to eradicate Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacterium linked to peptic ulcers and gastritis. The kit contains a 7-day course of three essential medications:

• Omeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor)

• Clarithromycin (a macrolide antibiotic)

• Tinidazole (an antiprotozoal/antibiotic)

Together, these agents reduce stomach acid, kill the bacteria, and prevent its recurrence.

Kit Contents (Per Daily Dose)

Each kit typically includes 7 strips (one for each day), and each strip contains:

• Omeprazole 20mg – 1 capsule (twice daily)

• Clarithromycin 250mg – 1 tablet (twice daily)

• Tinidazole 500mg – 1 tablet (twice daily)

Dosage & Administration

• Standard Adult Dose:

  • Omeprazole 20mg – twice daily

  • Clarithromycin 250mg – twice daily

• Duration: 7 consecutive days

Take all medications after meals, with a full glass of water. Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve.

Pregnancy & Lactation

• ❌ Pregnancy:
  Not recommended unless clearly necessary. Tinidazole and Clarithromycin are generally not advised in the first trimester due to potential risks.

• 🤱 Lactation:
  Use with caution. Tinidazole is excreted in breast milk and may be harmful. Consult your doctor about pausing breastfeeding during therapy.

Common Side Effects

• Nausea, metallic taste in mouth

• Dark urine (from tinidazole – harmless but notable)

Serious Side Effects (Rare)

• Severe allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)

• Liver dysfunction (yellowing of eyes or skin)

• Irregular heartbeat, neurological symptoms (seizure, dizziness)

Stop treatment and seek immediate medical attention for any severe symptoms.
