Pepto Bismol Chewable Tablets 48’s

INDICATIIONS

Pepto Bismol is an antidiarrheal and anti-inflammatory agent used for symptomatic treatment of nausea, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea, and other temporary discomforts of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract.

DOSAGE

DOSING FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN 12 YEARS AND OVER.

• Chew or dissolve in mouth
• 2 tablets (1 dose) every ½ hour or 4 tablets (2 doses) every hour as needed for diarrhea
• 2 tablets (1 dose) every ½ hour as needed for overindulgence (upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion, nausea)
• Do not exceed 8 doses (16 tablets) in 24 hours
• PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
• Not recommended if pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek a physician’s advise is so.

SIDE EFFECTS

darkening of the stools and/or tongue, decreased urination, dizziness and lightheadedness, dryness of mouth, increased thirst
