INDICATIONS
Optilait 3 is formulated to provide essential nutrients that may be lacking in a toddler’s diet. It is intended to complement a balanced diet and should be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Preparation of the Formula:
Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the formula.
Sterilize all utensils, bottles, and teats to ensure they are free from harmful bacteria.
Use clean, safe, and cooled boiled water (around 40°C or 104°F) to prepare the formula.
Measuring the Powder:
Always use the scoop provided with the Optilait 3 product.
Level off the powder with the back of a clean knife or similar flat object.
Ensure that the correct amount of powder is measured (this is usually one scoop per 30 mL of water). Do not overfill or underfill the scoop.
Mixing the Formula:
Add the measured powder to the correct amount of water (e.g., 1 scoop of powder for 30 mL of water).
Close the bottle securely and shake well to dissolve the powder completely, ensuring that there are no lumps.
Feeding:
The formula should be fed to the child immediately after preparation.
Always check the temperature of the formula before feeding (test a few drops on the inside of your wrist—it should be lukewarm, not hot).
Once prepared, do not store the formula for later use. Discard any leftover formula after the feeding.
Dosage:
Typical Dosage:
The exact amount of Optilait 3 may vary depending on your child’s specific needs, but typically, a child aged 1 to 3 years will consume about 2 to 3 servings of the formula per day.
Each serving should consist of approximately 200-250 mL of prepared formula, depending on the child’s appetite and nutritional needs.
Guidelines:
1-2 servings per day may be appropriate for toddlers who are already consuming solid foods and other dairy sources.
3 servings per day may be more suitable for children who are not consuming sufficient dairy or other sources of nutrition.
Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance, as your child’s specific growth and nutritional needs may differ.
WARNINGS
Do not over-concentrate the formula or dilute it too much.
Do not use the formula beyond its expiry date.
Ensure the bottle is always clean and that the lid is tightly closed after each use.
Formula should be consumed immediately after preparation and should not be stored for later feedings.
By following these instructions closely, you can ensure your child receives the proper nutrition from Optilait 3 while minimizing the risk of contamination or incorrect feeding.
